I have been a professional custom flag and banner maker since 1983. It is truly an art and I feel so passionate about the work I do. I owned and operated a flag shop called Flying Colors Ltd. on Thames Street in Newport, Rhode Island for nearly fourteen years. We had a retail store that serviced homeowners, businesses, the America's Cup teams, hundreds of boaters, as well as many of the US Navy ships stationed there. Fast forward to 2007 and to Seattle, Washington and the revival of our business. Many of our old customers, who became part of the family in Newport, can once again hoist their flags. Our new customers are just as thrilled to have found such a treasure. Take a look at some of the amazing custom work I have had the pleasure and honor of making, it may inspire your own creativity. Have some fun and send in your ideas, I am open and willing to help create your work of art. We have always been known for the quality of our workmanship and customer service.
