What can the plant industry learn from the music industry?

According to Trent de la Cruz the answer starts with meeting the people where they are.

The best marketing opportunities might not be where you expect them, it’s where your audience is gathering, connecting and consuming.

Stop asking, “Where can we advertise?”

Start asking, “Where are our people?”

Then show up there.

Every week for the last 3 years we’ve hosted a virtual sesh so all the homies and community members can connect.

We’ve had countless conversations with those that care where this industry ends up. Never once thinking this might be our last time connecting with them but forever grateful to have captured the moment.

Advocates like Kaos/Kris who used their life’s journey to help those that came after him. Our condolences go out this his loved ones and friends. We know your presence will be missed. 🙏🏽

Some names become a part of an industry’s history.

Have a Heart was one of those names in I502. As one of the early giants of the market, their workers also made history in 2018 by becoming Washington’s first canna retail workforce to ratify a union contract.

So seen Have a Heart locations disappear this year is more than watching another storefront close. It’s a reminder of how much this industry changed.
