It is with profound sadness that I share the news of the passing of the founder of R & B Supply Co., my beloved father, Robert Monroe. He passed peacefully on the afternoon of March 1 after a short illness. He was surrounded by his family and people who loved him.

Dad served the Seattle watchmaking community for more than fifty years. He thoroughly enjoyed the relationships he built with the customers he saw day after day and the friendships he built through the years.

Never one for compromise, he built R&B Supply with an unflinching eye toward doing things the right way and making sure his customers were taken care of. When it came time to retire and turn the business over, I carried those lessons with me. Over the last 20+ years I hope I’ve done even half the job he did and look forward to continuing to build on the legacy he left.

Thank you for everything, Dad. I love you. You will be deeply and eternally missed.

We're happy to announce our reopening on Tuesday, June 16th.

Things will be a little different, though. We'll be open Tuesday through Friday from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm. For your safety, we have put up protective shielding and will sanitize touchable spaces after each visit.

We encourage social distancing and will be limiting customers to one at a time. For this reason, we recommend making an appointment. Please call 206-682-8720 for more information.
