Good Morning from the Ballard Locks! It was time to take our Maui countertop project glass to down the water jet in Ballard for cutting. It takes a lot of precision and skill to cut such a fragile and heavy medium to strict specifications. Using just water, air, and garnets, the water jet machine cuts through this nearly 800lb slab of glass like butter.

How is going ➡️ how it started. Our ultra clear bubble glass starts as sheets of glass carefully scored and snapped into smaller pieces, then smashed, weighed, and spread out onto the kiln bed. It makes the prettiest bubble glass, but hey, we may be a little biased.
