After years of owning a clinic, here are 5 things I stopped doing:
1️⃣ Trying to answer everything myself.
Because not every question needs to come back to the owner.
2️⃣ Thinking exhaustion was normal.
Burnout isn't a requirement for success.
3️⃣ Saying yes to every opportunity.
Not every opportunity aligns with your goals.
4️⃣ Being the only person who knew the process.
A clinic shouldn't stop functioning when one person steps away.
5️⃣ Believing support was a luxury.
Support isn't an expense. It's often the thing that creates growth.
The biggest lesson?
The habits that help you build a clinic aren't always the habits that help you grow one.
For a long time, I thought being a good clinic owner meant being involved in everything.
Now I believe great leadership is creating the right support, structure, and systems so everything doesn't depend on you.
Just because you CAN carry everything doesn't mean you SHOULD.
Which one resonates with you most? 🤍
