Puget Sound Yacht Club

Puget Sound Yacht Club Puget Sound Yacht Club was founded in 1954 and has continued as a family oriented cruising club. The Welcome Aboard!

The Puget Sound Yacht Club (on Lake Union, near Gasworks Park) is located at 2321 North Northlake Way, Seattle 98103. Over 50 years of Family Boating: Fun, Friendly, Good Sportsmanship, Safety! We're an affordable, "come as you are" boating club that says hello with a hug. We hold monthly dinner meetings every third Wednesday as well as seasonal Dock First Friday informal gatherings at our own clu

bhouse and dock. Our members enjoy club cruises around the sound, to our Hat Island outstation and for an annual weekend raft-up in Andrew's Bay. We also have a very full social calendar consisting of holiday and theme parties, a wine educator guided wine tasting, whiskey and barbecue class, lobster feed, paint & sip, karaoke, awards dinner, and our Commodore's Ball. We also participate in area boating events such as Opening Day, Daffodil Marine Parade, South Sound Opening Day, Seafair Cruise, Easter Parade, Lighted Boat Parade, and are invited to several yacht club's Commodore Balls. Sign-up on the Wait List for moorage on our Dock and when a spot comes open, enjoy the savings and great location.

NOTICE FROM WASHINGTON PARKS

Mooring buoy anchor replacement update: We’ve got oar-some news for you!

Our anchor replacement project in the San Juan Islands is done. This means 112 of our mooring buoys in the San Juan Islands are operational, including 70 with new anchors.

Anchors were replaced at:
• Spencer Spit
• James, Jones, Matia and Patos islands
• Prevost and Reid harbors on Stuart Island
• Fossil, Fox, Echo, Ewing, Shallow and Snoring on Sucia

Washington State Parks maintains 259 public recreational mooring buoys at 40+ parks throughout Puget Sound, Salish Sea, Hood Canal, Kitsap and Olympic Peninsula.

We anticipate replacing anchors on Blake Island and South Sound marine parks this summer.

We’ve also got tips to help you set sail for success:
• Buy your annual moorage permit.
• Save yourself a trip to shore to pay fees. Use our call-in registration system.
• Please use the brand-new anchors.
• For the protection of fragile aquatic environments, please do not anchor in eel grass.
We appreciate boaters’ patience as we replace these anchors.

Open to all! Please RSVP to rearcommodore@pugetsoundyc.org so we know how many to expect.
