The release of ACOG's new Committee Statement on partnering with doulas marks an important step forward for collaborative maternity care. As a co-authors, it has been an incredible honor to help shape guidance that recognizes doulas as valued members of the care team.

Calling all South Florida Doulas!

Jackson Health is currently participating in the Doula Friendly Designated Hospital™ Initiative, a collaborative effort designed to strengthen partnerships between hospitals and doulas, improve communication, and create a more supportive experience for birthing families.

During this town hall, we will:

• Share an overview of the Doula Friendly Designated Hospital™ Initiative
• Review findings from the Miami-Dade Doula and Jackson Health surveys
• Provide updates on Jackson Health's developing doula guideline
• Discuss opportunities for collaboration between doulas and hospital teams
• Connect and network with fellow doulas serving the Miami-Dade community
