Been on a social media break for the last few months. Between busy client sessions, kiddos being home, summer vacations, and move into our own new home, I needed a bit of emotional space from the constant of this app.

But, we organized so many beautiful spaces that I can’t keep these photos to myself!

Maybe I’ll find a balance of being on stories / posting often but for now, I’m doing a bit of a photo and video dump. Scroll through my recent posts if you want an update on some of the lucky clients we got to work with this summer 🤍

And if you were curious: I unpacked and organized my new house in a couple of days. And no. I still have not taken any photos of it 🫣

Clear counter goals? I’ve got you.

In-the-drawer knife blocks are a must have in an Organized Sanctuary. One more thing off your counter, and the streamlined look in your drawer is perfection.

Want a drawer that looks as good as this one? Send me a message - I’ve got some openings this month!

There’s a whole lot of goodness packed into this article, but here’s my favorite quote:

The interview I never shared! (Thanks, covid)

I had a blast being interviewed by for and all about my favorite ways to host on Passover while having a calm, stress-free home. The interview was done a month or two before covid hit and the article was published right at the start of the pandemic, sadly becoming a part of the magazine’s last edition.

But the content is still spot on and holds more true today than it did in 2020, now that our holiday tables are full again. As I do my own spring holiday prep today, I realized you might want to some inspo on that end. Minus the matza, the concepts work for Easter, Thanksgiving, or any other time your home needs a bit more calm.

I included a link in my weekly email that went out to my email list. Dm me if you want it!

Do this before the clutter builds

Take a peek at your shopping habits. Impulse buying. Thinking you need it because “it looks so cute in the Instagram ad - it will be perfect in the living room.” Buying it now because “maybe I’ll need it on my next tropical vacation.”

Before clicking “buy now”, ask your self a few questions:

1) Why do I want it?
2) Do I have something similar already?
3) I’ve been living life without this for years. Why add it now?
4) If I buy it, where will I keep it?
5) How does it make me feel?

Personally, #4 is the one that helps me the most when I’m on the struggle bus. What about you?

🔆 Lighten up our homes - together 🔆

Even if you don't celebrate Chanukah, join me all 8 nights of the holiday (Nov 28 - Dec 5) for a decluttering challenge to help lighten up our homes. One for Each Night is a version of the "mins game” where we'll each declutter one item on night #1, two items on night #2, and so on.

I'll be on stories every night of the holiday sharing what I'm decluttering, plus how I'm getting rid of each item, with a focus on discarding sustainably. ⠀

This is the second year I'm doing this challenge - so of course I'm upping the stakes! Tag me on Instagram in a pic of your efforts (stories or a post) and you'll be entered to win a free 30-minute virtual organizing session with me!
