Dear Neighbors,
You’re probably wondering why the store is closed today. Well, there’s been a lot of crazy things going on in this country lately. Things I thought I would never, ever see. Hateful, sadistic, soulless things. Unanswerable masked federal police. People disappearing from their homes. Families torn apart. 32 dead in 2025. 8 dead in 2026. And it’s not even February.
Despite this dread, I am hopeful we have reached an inflection point. A point where we, the people, have had enough. So I decided I had to do something about it so I am standing in solidarity with the people of Minneapolis and answering their call for a national general strike.
I hope it will make you pause during your busy day and think about the current situation. Pause and decide if you want this country to continue down this dark,and ultimately self destructive path we have been led onto. And if you, like me, decide the answer is no then you too will find something you can do about it. Reach out to your legislators, volunteer, speak out, donate, march, write, whatever you want. But something.
