Utah adventure day 3: driving White Rim Road out to our campsite proved to be more of an adventure than anticipated due to this year's severe monsoon season, compounded by more rain the day before our drive. Totally worth it. Words do not describe the solitude and peacefulness of having a slice of such beautiful country to ourselves (photos 3 and 4). Thanks to for the 2nd rig (yellow Jeep). .

Utah adventure day 2: drove out to the Islands in the Sky District of Canyonlands National Park with to get eyes on the Shafer Trail switchbacks down into the canyon before driving down to the White Rim trail.

Took a long road trip down to Utah recently with . The first day after we arrived, we drove out to the Needles district of Canyonlands National Park just in time for sunset.
