When my friend next to me asked if I made a wish, I answered with a “NOPE!”
I’m at a stage in my life where I don’t leave my results up to luck or hope. I believe in manifesting a vision and then applying the grit-required work to make it a reality.
But this isn’t just about my own life. It’s about the standard I hold for the CEOs and advisors I partner with.
I see it constantly where leaders are “wishing” for a reprieve, “hoping” for better talent, or “waiting” for the right time to make the next big move.
But wishes are passive. They are a placeholder for the action you’re afraid to take.
I’m interested in the architecture of a life and business that works.
My work fulfills me, but what matters more is how it propels my clients forward in building their dream firms faster and more efficiently. I spend my days shortening the gap between decision and action, because that is where the real life-change happens.
When I chose not to make a wish, I realized how much I truly value certainty over luck.
I’m grateful for another year of doing what I love. But we aren’t wishing for a great year over here—we are building one. 🎂🔥
