First day of hedging at Adam’s Vineyard. We trim the vines to shape the canopy, open up the fruit zone, and help the grapes ripen evenly all season long.

The clusters are now pea-size; a key moment in the growing cycle that tells us it’s time to tidy the vines and focus their energy on the fruit.

Happy birthday to our proprietor, Lynn. 🥳

In his words, he’s never thought of himself as an owner of this estate, but as a steward of this land, caring for the vines, the gardens, and the wildlife so they can thrive for generations to come.

We’re grateful for his vision, humility, and the way he continues to guide Lynmar with heart, wisdom, and a deep respect for this place we all love.

At Lynmar, the blending starts long before Pete ever sets foot in the cellar.

Because we own our vineyards and farm them ourselves, we can micro-pick individual blocks at exactly the right moment; capturing up to 90 separate fermentation lots, each harvested, fermented, and aged on their own terms.

That’s 90 distinct expressions of this land. And the freedom to blend them into something greater.

🍷 This is the art of blending, from the ground up.

Sonoma County’s little airport is having a big moment: Southwest has landed and start November, Alaska Airlines is expanding, which means more direct flights and less time on the road to Wine Country bliss. 🛫

Touch down at Charles M. Schulz–Sonoma County Airport, and you’re just a quick, scenic drive from Pinot, Chardonnay, and garden views at Lynmar Estate!

Where are you flying in from first?

We believe in making even the small things decadent; like a chef prepared charcuterie board that feels as considered as the wines in your glass. Cured meats, artisan cheese and seasonal bites are all chosen to complement each pour.

At Lynmar, it’s never just about what you taste, but who you share it with.. and the way food, wine, and conversation come together at the table.

Checking in with our Vineyard Manager Joel as we navigate this season’s unique rhythm. The warm weather has accelerated this year’s vintage timeline compared to recent years, bringing an earlier-than-usual pace to the vineyard.

But here’s the exciting part; everything is looking exceptional.
Joel’s expertise and careful attention ensure that even as Mother Nature sets a faster tempo, our vines are thriving and developing beautifully.

It’s a reminder that great winemaking is about adapting to each vintage’s personality while staying true to our commitment to quality.
Stay tuned as we continue following this year’s journey from vine to bottle.
