Maine Whitetail Adventures Fully guided Maine hunts for Trophy Deer, Black Bear, and Trophy Moose. Remote big woods experience! We hunt in the remote North Maine Woods.

We specialize in Guided Trophy Whitetail Deer Hunts and Trophy Moose Hunts. Hunting pressure is low here and encountering another hunter is unlikely. We pass on all small bucks, waiting for the trophy 200+ lb bucks this area produces. We hunt primarily out of climbing treestands for deer. We also offer 1-on-1 Hunts for deer where we still-hunt bare ground and track when there is snow. We target bull moose with an antler spread exceeding 50". Yesterday was our last day of bear hunting for the 2026 season.
One of the hunters came back with this video from their bear stand last night. This is a sign! As we transition into next week’s bull moose hunt! 🫎

Congratulations Chapman & Hays Dickerson!!
This is Hays third bear season and he’s not even three years old!
They struck out hunting the first and second years, but did snare a bear together the second season.
It all changed this year. Hays showed up ready to go. Complete with his camo outfit and his r***e. Hays learns quick and even had to shhh Dad in the ground blind a few times.
Hays also learned how to follow blood on the leaves, field dress the bear, tag it, and drag it out with the sled. Something tells me it won’t be long and he’ll be showing up Dad!

Congratulations Vale!
Vale had an exciting Week 3 with bear sightings every day for 5 days straight. On the 5th night we moved the group to a different area. Vale’s lucky streak continued except this time with a shooter! At 6:12pm his bear appeared and within seconds Vale made a perfect shot. He was able to get the action on video too!
This week was almost all repeat MWA hunters. It was fun having all the other guys there to help get the bear out of the woods in the dark. Always an adventure!

Omar traveled all the way from the country of Georgia in Europe to hunt for a Maine black bear!
His son lives nearby here in Maine and arranged an MWA bear hunt for him. I really admire Omar’s attitude towards the hunt. He told me at the beginning of the week he will hunt everyday and it will happen if it’s supposed to. He happily kept plugging away and finally got his chance on the 5th night. Sharing Omar’s excitement and appreciation for his bear capped week 2 off perfectly! 🇬🇪

Congratulations Mark Wright!!
We kicked off Week 2 last night with a 226 lb dressed boar!
Mark made the solo trip all the way from Missouri. He rolled into camp Sunday ready to go and showed us more than once where the bullseye was at the range. He just needed to see his bear.
Last night seemed like a good night for bear activity but only a few hunters had bear sightings. Mark was one of them and he certainly made the most of it with a perfect heart shot.
A great bear taken by a well deserving great guy!

Congratulations Marvin Joseph!!
At 12 years old he’s showing us how it’s done!
Marvin and his father didn’t have any sightings Monday or Tuesday. They kept at it and stayed positive going into the Wednesday hunt. At 6:15pm a bear appeared! Marvin made an impressive shot for anybody, dropping the bear in its tracks! The smile says it all. Thank you again for the lobsters!

Congratulations Mike DeLuca!
On Monday Mike had a close encounter with a bear under his treestand, then it got away. He had a quiet hunt on Tuesday and then it all came together early yesterday afternoon. At 3:30pm a bear came in and Mike didn’t waste any time taking action. When I got there I could see the bear from the base of his treestand. It doesn’t get any easier than that!

Congratulations Mike D’Avanzo!
The boys from NY are on’ em this week. Mike and his three buddies rolled in Sunday and are already 3 out of 4 on bear in 2 days! Mike had a slow first night hunt but that all changed on Tuesday. He said when the bear appeared it was running to the bait! As soon as it stopped Mike seized the moment and took his first black bear.
