Everywhere I look lately it’s lawn company vs lawn company… 👀
Talking down.Undercutting.Watching each other more than we watch our own work.
And honestly… it’s getting old.
Here’s the truth nobody wants to say:
There is PLENTY of work out here for everybody.
The grass doesn’t stop growing because another company got the job.New builds keep popping up.Storms hit.People move.Lawns get neglected.
There is more opportunity in this industry than most people realize.
But instead of leveling up, too many are focused on:
Who’s charging what
Who “stole” a customer
Who’s posting what online
Meanwhile the companies that are really winning?They’re too busy working, growing, and building relationships to worry about any of that.
💯 Real talk:
If another company is booked out… that’s a WIN for the industry.If someone else is getting jobs… that means the demand is there.If you’re losing work… it’s not because of them it’s a sign to tighten up YOUR system.
Better quality.Better communication.Better branding.Better consistency.
That’s what separates companies — not tearing each other down.
At the end of the day, most of us:✔ Work long hours✔ Miss time with family✔ Put everything we have into this
Why not respect that grind instead of competing with hate?
Imagine what would happen if:
We recommended each other when booked
We helped newer guys learn instead of mocking them
We pushed the industry standard UP instead of dragging it down
That’s how you build a name that actually lasts.
We don’t need more drama in lawn care…We need more professionalism, more respect, and more people doing things the RIGHT way.
Support your local guys.Stay in your lane.Focus on your craft.
And watch what happens.
