Clothes can be hard for some to get rid of but there can be a lot of opportunity. If the items no longer fit (too big or too small), are damaged (holes, faded, stretched out, etc.), or out of style then it’s time to purge.

Basements tend to accumulate lots of items overtime but as long as they are decluttered and organized you can easily access everything you need.

Installing systems can be important to keeping organized. In this room I began by getting rid of the older broken down shelving units, I then installed rubber flooring, built a shelving unit and tool box unit. Lastly, I shopped for and installed small accessible containers to the wall to easily access screws, nails, etc. for when doing projects at the tool bench. The bench was moved into the room, from another part of the basement, to keep everything in one spot to remain for efficient.

Tupperware can get messy! Every once in awhile go through your inventory. Discard tops or bottoms that don’t have matches. Also get rid of stained items.
