We had the opportunity to get back out on the water with the La Conner Fire Department and see our custom-built 28-foot aluminum landing craft fire-rescue boat in action!

She’s powered by twin Suzuki Marine USA 250s and equipped with a dedicated 1,000 GPM fire pump system as well as an SE80 electric bow thruster to keep her tracking properly when using the dual monitors on the bow. And she has a long list of custom add-ons including drop down bow door, custom push knees, rescue davit used in conjunction with the dive door, and a tow post with welded pipe engine guard. She has a Garmin Marine electronics package, Teledyne FLIR infrared camera, and emergency services light bar up top for when she’s in service.

This landing craft was designed and built by FTF for everything from marine firefighting to search and rescue, where having the right equipment can make all the difference when every second counts.

35 feet long. 11.5 feet wide. Designed and built from the ground up to handle the unforgiving Alaskan waters.

This custom aluminum sport fishing boat is coming together here at Full-Time Fabrication, and it's shaping up to be one seriously impressive build.

With triple Honda Marine BF350s, a QuickGyro MC2 stabilization system, a fully finished interior, and a spacious fishing deck, this boat is being designed to handle big adventures on the water.

The heavy lifting is done, we’re just wrapping up loose ends and doing testing and we’ll be taking this thing to the water for seatrials and delivery.

Pulled the 35 outside for some morning sun and she looks goooooood…

Stoked to wrap this one up and get her in the water where she belongs, she’s gonna be a fish killing machine. Stay tuned for seatrials and wrap up. Hopefully a few weeks out.

We just got the go-ahead to order metal for this 25’ extended cabin cruiser called the North Shore. We’re going to be partnering up with inside passage yacht sales to build some hulls that they’re going to outfit and sell as floor models in the upcoming year, so this thing is gonna be for sale come early spring. If anyone’s in the market, this will be a perfect little puget sound boat. As we’re getting into the fall / winter crabbing season, thought I’d remind anyone who might be in the market that we build some pretty mean crab boats. We have a few different models drawn up, anything from a 24’ open back sound crabber / dive boat, to the mid range 34’ enclosed cab all the way up to a 47’ coast boat. We’d love to take another one of these on, anyone thinking about a new boat reach out and I’ll get some drawings and price sheets sent your way. NOW HIRING!

Full-Time Fab is looking to bring on another guy or two coming up. Ability to fab/weld is a huge plus, but any marine mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and/or systems knowledge and experience is all considered. Also willing to train the right person who has a desire to learn. We’re a small shop with a great team and all have our hands in every step of the build process along the way, so every day’s a little different. We offer good pay with full benefits and run a pretty low drama program.

Also floating the idea of bringing on someone to help with bids, estimates, parts ordering, and general job / office organization that could also step into the shop as needed. It’s a unique role to fill in a smaller shop and would have to be a really good fit but you never know if you don’t ask.

We were able to talk the La Conner fire department into taking us out over the weekend and getting some proper footage of the 28’ landing craft we finished a while back. Turned out to be a perfect day for a boat ride, and was cool hearing how happy they are with everything, that was a fun build for a great group of guys.

We’ve built a few landing crafts now and have plenty of options to choose from. We build all sizes and widths, have cabin options to choose from (t top/console, walk-around, full width) and we can build to any finish level desired. Anyone in the market for a landing craft, we’re your guys.

We’ve been keeping the designer going full speed, and we’re stoked to be able to finally launch our line of FTF cabin cruiser / sport boats. Here’s what we got so far:

25’ x 8 1/2’ regular and extended cab
28’ x 8 1/2’
30’ x 10’
32’ x 11 1/2’ catamaran
35’ x 11 1/2’ walkaround cab

We’re considering these our stock models but we do all design in-house so any custom changes or add-ons are always in the cards. Or if you don’t see what you like here and want to talk about a one-off custom, we can make that happen too. Either way we have some rad platforms to build off of and we got one of the best teams on the west coast to build you a purpose built boat from start to finish.
