Overview:
Excavation West Inc is looking for experienced Equipment Operators. Must have prior experience operating heavy equipment (Excavators, Skid Steer, Etc). Candidate must be capable of working in all temperatures, climates, and weather conditions and be able to pass a drug screen.

Responsibilities:
Field experience with digging operations in city and urban areas around utilities.
Dig for utility locates and vault/box locations using shovels and approved hand operated powered digging tools
Willingness to work all shifts assigned, including daily overtime whenever necessary.
Adhere to ALL manufacturer provided safety operational procedures and industry safety standards.
Operate and provide training and assistance to co-workers.
Perform routine labor as required.
Must understand utility locate law and compliance procedures.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Must have 2-5 years prior experience operating equipment and must work well with others and participate on a crew.
Willing to travel
Prior experience lifting steel plates, digging in confined areas, and scooping materials in/out of dump trucks with excavator.
Able to perform the physical tasks required in this position for the entire assigned shift.
Must be 18 years of age and have a valid driver’s license.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Ability to understand and follow specific oral instruction.
Ability to perform manual labor for extensive periods of time.
Maintain cooperative and effective working relationship with others.
Maintain log with hours worked and tasks performed.
Must be able to pass drug screen.
