Today’s effort, an American badger, or as I like to call them — assault weasel. This will be a wall habitat. I will be making some additions to the habitat. I did major alterations for size, adding 6 inches in length, 3/4” to the length of each leg and as much as 1” inches girth. I’ve spent the majority of the week working on this custom piece with approximately 24 hours invested.

It’s been almost a month since I mounted this pretty South Texas grey fox. Today I got around to doing the finish work. Mounted for TJ Scott on a Brian Hendricks manikin from McKenzie Taxidermy Supply. I made a few, slight alterations and used a conventional head.

Today’s effort — a sambar, a species originally from lowland and swampy areas of Asia. Still deciding on what I’m going to do with the top of the barrel insofar as habitat goes.

This morning I put the finishing touches on this absolutely stunning 23.5”-wide very symmetrical 10-pointer I mounted for Henry Beck. Mounted on a McKenzie 8600 semi-upright manikin.

Doing a little finish work today and got this pretty 8-point Wilson County buck ready to go home. Mounted for Logan Compton on a McKenzie 8400 semi-upright.
