This week we had the pleasure of learning more about Josh Parmentier with Design 47!

Josh grew up in South Carolina and has lived in the Yakima Valley since he was 17 years old. He is happily married and has 7 children ranging from 3-21. Josh attended Perry Tech 18 years ago for auto technician and was in the automotive field for 7 years. He then went on to spend the next 7 years in industrial maintenance.

In 2020, due to a premature child and Covid, he became a stay-at-home father for the next 4 years. Then in 2024, Josh partnered with Cody Denton and they began a store location for Design 47 which began in Cody's garage several years earlier.

Josh enjoys spending time with family, camping, watersports, racing, poker, and fantasy football. He also enjoys his work, strives to give his customers the very best and takes pride in following a project to completion.
