🧹 Featured Speaker: Dave Alden | Alden’s Clean Team

Our featured speaker at BNI Up & Coming was Dave Alden with Alden’s Clean Team, and we got to learn a little more about the family behind the business.

Alden’s Clean Team really is a family team — Dave and his daughters, Leah and Lindsey. ❤️

Their why is about more than simply having a clean house. Dave talked about helping people get some of their time back — time for family, work, hobbies or whatever else matters to them — by taking cleaning off their list.

They provide home and office cleaning, along with window cleaning and cleaning homes that are being prepared for sale. And one of Dave’s goals for the business is pretty straightforward: keep their customers happy by paying attention to the details and doing the job well — not just doing the bare minimum.

That family connection carries over into Dave’s life outside of work, too. He talked about how much he values time with his family, whether they’re camping, enjoying their hobbies or simply spending time together.

If you could use a little more time in your week and a little less cleaning on your to-do list, Dave, Leah and Lindsey may be just the family to call!

🎤 Featured Speaker: Beau Benedetti | Rogers Financial Group

Today’s featured speaker at BNI Up & Coming was Beau Benedetti with Rogers Financial Group!

Beau grew up right here in Yakima, attended East Valley High School, participated in Running Start, and then went on to Grand Canyon University. He also recently celebrated his first wedding anniversary! 🎉

Family, faith and friends are incredibly important to Beau. Outside of work, he enjoys staying active with basketball, football, hiking and running, along with photography and spending time with his wife.

During his presentation, Beau talked about retirement planning, rollovers and estate planning, and shared some great reminders about thinking long-term when it comes to our finances. One point that really stood out was that one of our biggest assets is something we may not think of as an asset at all — it’s us and our ability to earn income.

He also talked about the value of starting early when investing and not getting too caught up in the day-to-day ups and downs of the market. Financial planning is about looking at the bigger picture and making a plan for what you want your money to accomplish throughout your life.

A great referral for Beau is someone who has changed careers and still has a retirement account with a former employer, or someone who is approaching retirement and wants to make sure they have a plan for their retirement income.

One of our recent featured speakers was Katrina Henkle with All Square Mortgage, who fills the Residential Mortgages category in our BNI Up & Coming chapter.

Katrina has been in the mortgage industry since 2002 and brings more than 20 years of experience to helping people navigate the financing side of buying a home. She works with a wide variety of loan programs and has a real talent for finding solutions when a situation isn’t quite straightforward.

In fact, I sometimes call Katrina a unicorn 🦄 because she can make some pretty magical things happen with financing! She has the knowledge and creativity to look at a situation that might not seem possible at first, but just as importantly, she has the patience to take the time to figure it out. She’ll dig in, explore the options and work incredibly hard to find a path forward for her clients.

I’ve had the opportunity to work with Katrina on a couple of transactions, and I’ve seen that firsthand. She advocates for her clients, takes the time to understand their individual circumstances and genuinely cares about the people she’s helping. She cares, and it shows.

And that extends well beyond her work. Katrina is a wife and mom of two who is incredibly involved in our community and cares deeply about making it a better place for her family and for others. She is simply the kind of person who shows up. When someone needs help and there’s a way she can help, she does.

That same heart, patience and determination is exactly what Katrina brings to her clients, and we’re lucky to have her as part of BNI Up & Coming! ❤️🦄

We’re featuring Jonah Henn with Aflac, representing Group Benefits!

Jonah shared a lot about what Aflac can offer businesses and their employees, but what really stood out from his presentation was hearing why he does what he does. He shared his heart and a very personal family story with our group, giving us a deeper understanding of what motivates him to help protect other families from unexpected financial burdens.

As a District Sales Coordinator with Aflac, Jonah works with businesses to build employee benefit packages while also looking for ways to help business owners identify cost-saving opportunities. He offers multiple types of supplemental coverage, including cancer and accident policies, along with access to PPO dental and vision plans.

Jonah especially enjoys working with small and family-owned businesses. A business can qualify with as few as three people — including two business partners and one employee, or one owner and two employees.

His goal for 2026 says a lot about what drives him: to help protect 100 families from the financial burden of cancer.

Jonah is also a proud dad and lifelong entrepreneur who genuinely enjoys learning about other business owners — how they got where they are and what they’re passionate about. And if you want to get him talking about something besides insurance, coffee and LEGO are pretty safe bets. 😊
