The ladies are reaching for the sun 🌞 and really taking shape as the time for transition approaches. In the next week we will give them a good clean out and prepare for IPM as the fruit sets.

How to trim Lavender and Rosemary. You can and should do this now and it’s important to trim them every year as shown in the diagram. Dry your Rosemary trimmings for culinary use and your Lavender trimmings are great in the house for the fragrance.

Wishing all cultivators and gardeners the happiest summer solstice tomorrow.



It is always our goal to get the plants into the ground a week prior to solstice. This allows ample time for the roots and plants to adjust and begin vigorous vegatative growth. 😉

10 days ago, we soaked seeds in kelp and put them under the lights. It took 5 days to get white tails on the seeds. 5 days to break the soils surface. While this germination method may not be much faster than the rest, we believe it dramatically improves the success rate.
