Running a business is basically laptop here, laptop there, one more email, one more thing to fix, and somehow thinking about work in places you definitely said you weren’t going to work. 😅
But getting to build something of your own, grow a team, serve great clients, and watch it turn into something bigger?

Meet Megan 👋
Senior Bookkeeper / Client Lead, numbers person, problem solver, and apparently our in-house private investigator.

Megan has been in bookkeeping since 2015 and joined Empowered to Profit in November 2025. She manages bookkeeping and financial operations for multiple clients - reconciliations, payroll, accounts payable, financial reporting, and helping business owners actually understand what their numbers are telling them.
She also has an Associate’s in Accounting and a Bachelor’s in Finance, so yes…she knows her stuff. But one of our favorite Megan facts? Give her a little information and she’ll find the rest. She’s fully convinced she missed her calling as a private investigator, and we’re not arguing with her. 🔎

A few more very Megan things:
- Black coffee. That’s it. ☕
- Live music
- Exploring Florida
- Any excuse to be outside
- Spending time with her kids
- And somehow, she has nailed every social media challenge we’ve thrown at her so far. 😂👏
Basically: serious about the numbers, curious about everything else, and game for whatever we throw her way.

Q4 is your last big chance to clean things up before year-end.
Not just the books. The whole picture.

Make sure your numbers are current.
Collect what you’re owed.
Review cash flow.
Look at profit and tax strategy.
Decide what needs to happen before December 31.
Because the goal isn’t to hit January and wonder what you should have done differently.

And 92 days is still enough time to make meaningful moves before year-end.

This is the point where we’d be looking at things like:
• Where profit actually stands
• What cash flow looks like heading into the final quarter
• Tax decisions that still have time to matter
• What’s driving revenue and what isn’t
• What needs attention now so December doesn’t become a scramble
You do not need to have the whole year figured out by October 1.
You do need to know what the numbers are telling you and what decisions are still yours to make.

There’s still time to finish the year stronger.

This is a client-facing, people-meets-operations role for someone who is organized, proactive, a great communicator, and really good at keeping things moving.
You’ll be one of the first people our clients and prospective clients interact with while helping our team stay organized behind the scenes - think client communication, lead follow-up, task management, onboarding, administrative support, and making sure nothing falls through the cracks.

You’ll probably love this role if you’re someone who:

- Takes initiative and solves problems
- Can confidently communicate by phone, email, and in person
