Blessed to Live Free

Every now and then, it’s important to pause and appreciate just how fortunate we are to live in the United States of America.

We live in a nation where opportunity surrounds us. Regardless of where we start in life, we have the freedom to dream, work hard, build businesses, provide for our families, and create a future that generations before us could only imagine. Freedom isn’t something we should ever take for granted—it was earned through tremendous sacrifice and preserved by countless Americans who answered the call to serve.

As President of Security Services Northwest, I am thankful every day for the opportunity to lead a company that I truly love and cherish. I have the privilege of working alongside an incredible team of employees whose dedication, professionalism, and work ethic inspire me. The greatest part is that their opportunities are unlimited. In America, hard work, integrity, and determination still open doors.

As Thomas Jefferson wisely said, “I like the dreams of the future better than the history of the past.” Those words remind us that our nation’s promise is built on hope, opportunity, and the freedom to pursue something greater.

Today, let’s take a moment to reflect on the incredible gift our Founding Fathers left us—a constitutional republic founded on liberty, individual responsibility, and the belief that every person has the opportunity to succeed.

May we never lose sight of those blessings, and may we continue to protect the freedoms that make this country unlike any other.

God bless America.

Joe D’Amico, President
