Having a good Capability Statement, you can take this with you in your industry days, you can take this when your visit with the Program Managers, you take this when you are going to different events so you have an opportunity to meet with teaming partners, you can do some joint ventures, you can meet other potential prime contractors, and definitely, when you are talking with these different agencies for Government Contracting, they would definitely want to see a copy of your Capability Statement.
