Men’s Mental Health Month – June
Men’s Mental Health Month is a reminder that mental health is just as important as physical health. Too often, men feel pressure to stay silent about their struggles, carry their burdens alone, or believe that asking for help is a sign of weakness. In reality, speaking up takes courage, and seeking support is a sign of strength.
This month encourages us to break the stigma surrounding mental health and create a culture where men feel comfortable expressing their emotions, discussing challenges, and reaching out when they need help. Whether someone is dealing with stress, anxiety, depression, grief, or simply feeling overwhelmed, no one should have to face it alone.
One of the most powerful things we can do is check in on each other. A simple conversation, text message, or phone call can make a meaningful difference. Ask your friends, brothers, fathers, sons, coworkers, and neighbors how they're doing—and take the time to truly listen.
Together, we can build stronger communities by supporting one another, encouraging open conversations, and reminding every man that his life, voice, and well-being matter.
If you or someone you know is struggling, help is available. Call or text 988 to reach the Su***de & Crisis Lifeline.
