You were told you had to pick a side.

You could be authentic OR visible. Values-led OR profitable. Heart-focused OR strategic.

Friend that’s a lie. And it’s been costing you more than you realize 😬

For over 15 years, my passion has been guiding business owners to show up authentically online. To build something real and stop performing. To start serving and connecting. I know it’s part of the work I was created for.

But I’ll be honest with you.

I’ve not always done that for myself 😬There were seasons I tried on voices that weren’t mine or followed advice that didn’t fit. I lived inside that question of “how do I have to show up to make this work?” longer than I’d like to admit!

What I learned is this: that question itself was wrong.

I never once told another business owner to be anything but themselves. But I had to apply that same truth to my own business.

And once I did, everything shifted.

Your values are not the obstacle to your visibility. They are part of your strategy. They always were.

The people you are meant to serve are looking for someone exactly like you. And the longer you show up as the version the internet told you to be, the longer they keep scrolling past, looking for the real you.

Friend you don’t have to pick a side. You just have to show up authentically you and market with heart, strategy and soul ❤️

If this resonates with you, comment ALIGNED. I’ll send you your first step we can walk through together 💞

"There’s a difference between showing up… and showing up intentionally.

I used to think consistency alone would grow my business. If I posted more, did more and tried harder.

But growth doesn’t come from just putting in the hours. It comes from how you show up in them.

Purposeful practice.

Being willing to adapt to the changing landscape.

Refining your message.

Sharpening your voice and your positioning.

Letting others' feedback shape you instead of discouraging you.

Stepping out of your comfort zone instead of avoiding it.

Because the truth is…you can’t steward what God has called you to well if you’re unwilling to grow into it.

“Mastery” in business isn’t about chasing recognition. It’s about honoring the gifts you’ve been given… and developing them intentionally.

Not for your own glory, but so you can serve others well.

That’s what we do inside Mentor My Marketing Collective.

We don’t just improve our marketing.
We refine it, we implement, and we adjust.
We grow into the kind of business owners who can carry the impact we’re praying for.

Because friend, your message matters too much to stay unrefined.

💬 What’s one area of your business you know God is calling you to grow in right now?"

Your brand story isn’t just told through words, it’s told through design.

Every color, font, and visual choice helps communicate who you are and what your brand stands for. When those elements work together intentionally, they create a story your audience can see and feel.

Here’s how design helps bring your brand story to life:

✨ Define your brand foundation
Start with your brand’s identity, values, and message. These guide every design decision you make.

✨ Create visual elements that reflect your brand
Your logo, color palette, and typography should capture the essence of your brand and what it represents.

✨ Apply your design consistently
Use the same design elements across your website, social media, and marketing materials to create a recognizable experience.

✨ Use visuals to express personality
Typography, color, and imagery help communicate emotion and make your brand more relatable.

✨ Build trust through consistency
When your brand looks cohesive everywhere, it creates a sense of reliability and professionalism.

Design doesn’t just make your brand look good, it helps your audience understand your story ♥️

Follow for strategies that make your brand clear, consistent, and memorable.

Your message matters, but how it’s presented matters just as much.

Design isn’t just decoration. It’s the visual language that helps your audience understand what you’re saying and why it matters.

When your design is intentional, it helps your message connect faster and more clearly.

Here’s why design plays such an important role in communicating with your audience:

✨ Captures attention instantly in a busy digital space
✨ Makes your message easier to understand at a glance
✨ Builds credibility and trust through professionalism
✨ Highlights what matters most in your content
✨ Reflects your brand values and personality

When design and message work together, your audience doesn’t just see your content - they remember it.

Follow for strategies to make your brand clearer, stronger, and more impactful.

"My comfort zone has never once grown my business.

And I have over a decade of proof.

This is what running an authentic heart-focused business actually looks like...not warm, comfortable, or waiting for perfect conditions.

It looks like showing up anyway.

There's a deeply human temptation to only put yourself out there when the timing feels right. When the caption is perfect. When the offer is polished. When the self-doubt goes quiet.

Spoiler: it never goes quiet... at least not for me and many others I know.

The business owners making real impact aren't waiting for that moment. They post through the doubt. They sell from their values and desire to serve, not fear. They market with their whole heart, even when the water is ice cold.

Courage isn't a personality trait. It's a marketing strategy.

You don't have to wait for warm weather. You decide your message matters more than your comfort, and you dive in.

Where I live is considered the Malibu of the Midwest. And like the brave soul in this picture, don't let the conditions decide for you ❄️

Your people are already out there waiting for you.

The only question is - when are you diving in?

💬 What have you been too 'cold' to post? Drop it below. I dare you. 👇"

If your brand looks different everywhere, your audience will feel the confusion.

Your message might be strong. Your heart might be in the right place. But when your visuals change from platform to platform, people have to work harder to recognize you, and that quietly weakens trust.

After over a decade in marketing, one thing I know for sure:

People trust what feels familiar.

Behind-the-scenes photos and real-life moments are powerful. They build connection and show the heart behind your brand.

But when it comes to promotional graphics, your website, sales posts, and branded content, consistency matters. That’s where recognition and trust start to grow.

Here are 5 simple ways to keep your brand visually consistent:

• Create simple guidelines for your colors, fonts, and logo
• Use the same design style across platforms
• Keep graphics clean and easy to recognize
• Create reusable templates
• Review and refine as your brand evolves

Authenticity builds connection.
Consistency builds recognition.
And together, they build trust.

So take a look at your latest posts today and ask yourself: Do my branded graphics clearly look like my brand?

Follow for marketing strategies that help you grow with clarity, authenticity, and heart. ♥️
