🔥 13-Year-Old Boy Shoots and Kills Intruder During Home Invasion
In North Charleston, South Carolina, a 13-year-old boy who was home alone shot and killed 31-year-old Lamar Anthwan Brown during an attempted break-in.
What Happened:
The teenager noticed a vehicle pull up to the house and a man attempting to force entry. He retrieved his mother’s pistol and opened fire, striking Brown three times. The boy continued firing as the getaway vehicle drove away.
The driver, 28-year-old Ira Bennett, rushed the wounded Brown to Trident Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.
Background and Charges: Lamar Brown had a lengthy criminal record that included multiple felony convictions and a history of violent crimes.
Ira Bennett was arrested and charged with first-degree burglary and possession of a weapon during a violent crime.
The Charleston County Sheriff’s Office declined to file any charges against the 13-year-old, determining he acted in self-defense to protect himself and his home.
