The Old Barn

The old barn was abandoned long ago
Where is stands in a field big and bold.
Its lost some of its boards but the charm is still there
Withered and gray and loose boards everywhere
The doors are gone and the windows are broke
But still a beauty with an artistic stroke.
The roof is a shamble with the shingles half gone
Its been neglected for way to long.
But its still beautiful to the artist eye
With the tall trees standing by.
There's ivy growing up the wall and wild flowers standing all around
Its a home for the birds and small creatures abound.
The old barn abandoned long ago
Stands in the field big and bold.
