Do you want to????
Over the past couple of months I have had to turn down several photo shoots due to not being able to work full shoots into my schedule. I have also had some say they would really like to get just a few good shots of their child or for their child's senior photos but just cannot afford a full shoot. I am working on opening a spot of time to try to help some folks out. I'm thinking the short photo shoots I mentioned before.

If I can open up a morning or a day (possibly this Saturday), who would like to get a quick set of photos at the park? I would like to help out some folks who have been wanting photos but haven't been able to afford it. So, you guys tell me, what would you like the cost to be to get a quick set of photos? (Take a look at my photos on here to get an idea of the type of photo work I do)
If I do this, I need to know there will be enough people setup for photos. So, please let me know. I also would like to know how much you would like the cost to be for this to make it affordable for YOU. Reply or send me a private message

As I said, I am trying to raise funds for a couple of important projects. I am considering offering some short photo shoots at a discounted rate. What I am thinking is announcing a day, time frame, & location that folks can come for a short shoot (15 - 30 minutes, give or take depending on what is needed). As those of you who know me, this is not something I typically do. A flat rate for a disc of a series of photos that you can use & print as you wish. What price would you like to see for this? What would get you to come out to get some photos taken? Please give me some feedback!

Still trying to figure out the best place to load & store photos. I really need to figure out the most efficient way to do this. I am currently trying to pool funds for a couple of big projects that could result in very positive changes for my family. If I can figure out the current best way to offer some photos for sale, I would like to use the proceeds from those sales to fund these projects.

How things stand right now:
After all of the hours spent making contacts with places/people over some of my work that was stolen - my stolen work has been removed from contests they were put in (under other people's names), photos have been removed by some; such as a German parenting magazine, a publishing company, a music site, & a ringtone site. I applaud the professionalism of these sites & how quickly they took action!

I'm still trying to track down the correct contact for an organization in the U.K. that has used one of my photos in a pamphlet/ advertisement.
Still waiting to see if some people & places are going to do the right thing or if I need to get legal & nasty.
This was just a handful of photos. I have reason to believe there are others.

To add to my frustration, this all came to my attention as I had realized I NEED to quit using the site I had been using to store & print my photos for sales. I thought I had figured out another site to move my photo site to, but have since realized that place will not work. While the site I had considered has good points & corrected some of the issues I have with my current place, I realized there are some issues with it. One big issue, it appears I would save a TON of money, but my clients/customers buying from my site would be hit with some crazy costs on their end. If I cut my price to make up for that, then I wouldn't make anything. I could self host my photo website, but I would still need to have a processing company (to process orders - print the photos).

So, I am still upset & dealing with a slew of thefts. I also have no idea what to do about a place for my website. I LOVE seeing the world through my lens & capturing those special moments. Honestly, I put a lot of time & work into what I do. People feel it's worth stealing, it's worth using for their business & websites, etc... then why shouldn't I expect some money coming in from my work? I have tried to be very fair with my prices when I do specific shoots & again, being honest, when you break down my time & all, folks making minimum wage are making leaps & bounds more than I do. lol So, I guess I need to re-evaluate what I need to do to move forward. I really don't like this. I love doing what I do.

Well this morning has started on a very sour note. Here I thought I already had my work cut out for me since I see that I need to work on getting my photo website moved to a new one. I haven't even been able to start on that since I have spent the past 5 1/2 - 6 hours sending out cease & remove notices (with notice if they do not I will be filing legally against them) all over the flippin' world.... contacts have even had to include a parenting mag in another country & a U.S. publishing company. sigh.... The way I feel right at the moment, I'm ready to forget the website move & just give up allowing anymore of my photography work on the internet.
