I personally want to thank our entire crew at Arion. Getting this bird finished and ready for a major airshow was 100% a team effort, no way this got done with out it.

Linda in the office and the crazy logistics of finding things we needed last minute, dealing with DHL international and the shipping conundrums we had.

Cindy in parts getting the correct stuff too the boys on the floor, and being ever so patient with customers when I was not available to take calls.

Mike and all the crazy trips back and forth from paint, interior shop, and on the structure and finish side of building.

Ronnie leading the finish charge on this thing and making on the fly changes needed to get it done.

Little nick who I guarantee is the first one in the states to have built the entire Firewall forward on a jabiru twin!

Jason and his very keen and detailed eye as thing finished up and making sure it was perfect and safe. Also I may have taken advantage of his unique talent for designing and 3D printing odd s**t I asked for.

While this certainly is a kit, it’s still very much a production prototype and so much of it still had to be sorted when building. No plans, no drawings, maybe a few pictures of how it was done once before.

I just got to fly it at the end. But the crew made it happen.

The first J432 twin jabiru in North America has flown! Super fun lots of power and it’s a Jabiru! One of only 3 in the world.

Well it’s not a Lightning but is equally as cool.
First start on the only J432 twin jab in North America. Only the 3rd in the world!

This week I got the opportunity to fly the first customer built Lightning, and one of the latest XSs finished. SN6 was in our shop this week for a new Gen4 jabiru. While SN207, a local aircraft, was in for a few service items.

What a drastic difference in the two, with completely different personalities, but both wonderful to fly. Fun to see where we started and where we are in the same week.

We are experiencing some slight difficulties with the phones not rolling over to the next line or voicemail. Those who know more than I are working on it. Hang in there folks
