WIBC provides expert advice on translational biomedical imaging and other types of biomarker assessments, to support both drug development and target characterization, leading to increased probability of success especially for novel therapeutic mechanisms. Our primary customers include companies that require biomarker development and implementation but that do not currently have bandwidth sufficient to include full time in house subject matter experts. Primary WIBC Services:
- Review of target/lead portfolios to determine which will benefit from imaging and/or non-imaging based biomarker assessments.
- PET and SPECT radiotracer development, from concept to bedside
- MRI probe development
- Design and ex*****on of preclinical and clinical imaging studies, including derivation of best strategy, identification of professional partners, construction and oversight of contracts, ensuring timelines for delivery, and acurate interpretation of results.
- Identify optimum CROs and oversee activities/relationships
- Construction of imaging related INDs/eINDs/RDRC application, including up front identification of needs and overseeing work leading to filing.
- Design of dosimetry and preclinical safety studies required for filing.
- Focus on many therapeutic areas, including neuroscience, oncology (small molecule and biologics), immunology, tissue targeting, and metabolic programs
