What does it take to bring a commercial battery from the factory floor to the field?

At Viridi's plant in Buffalo, building a battery pack used to take about 40 hours by hand. Today the cycle time is 45 minutes, with automation and human oversight working side by side at every stage.

Our Senior Director of Brand Marketing, Megan Fullagar, walked the floor to see it firsthand. Batteries from this factory are already deployed at Budderfly sites in Connecticut and Massachusetts, with California next.

A 92% retention rate across a full demand response season.

Budderfly's DERMS platform adjusts HVAC load automatically when a grid event is called, with no disruption to daily operations. Aggregated together, sites function as a single controllable resource for grid operators, delivering flexibility without any new infrastructure being built.

This season our VPP ran across four ISO territories, with more than 300 sites in nine states and some franchise operators participating in every single event.

We're excited to announce a new partnership with Delta Hotels by Marriott Allentown Lehigh Valley, as Budderfly expands into hospitality.

Budderfly is modernizing the property's energy infrastructure with combined heat and power, a parking lot solar canopy, battery storage, upgraded rooftop HVAC and in-room PTAC units, and water conservation technology — at no upfront cost to the hotel.
