Barrington Media Group was started nine years ago by Peter Stavisky. Peter started out with the theory that he could achieve great media efficiencies by buying large blocks of network inventory upfront and selling the time back to his clients. If he ever found himself with unsold inventory he could plug the holes with clients that ran their media strictly on a cost per call basis. Barrington’s PI client list grew quickly and the BMG performance model began take shape.
