Many of you don't know that I can do appliance installs, including dishwashers and gas ovens. And I do it at a much lower price than big box stores or specialty shops. Hello! Most of you have seen or heard commercials for Home Advisor and Angie's list non TV or radio. Here are two things you might not know about them:
#1..They are now both properties of Home Advisor.
#2.. While it's true that customers don't pay for the service, the contractor does. In a way, you ARE paying, because the contractor, me in this case, has to charge enough to recoup all or part of that fee. In addition, if I agree to do the job and the customer then changes their mind, I will still have to pay the fee. In very particular instances, I may get credited for a cancellation, but those instances are rare.
So, please remember this if you use either Angie's list or Home Advisor. Better yet, just tell your friends about my services, and take advantage of my services yourself.
Thanks to all of you who have been supportive of me and let me continue to be your "go-to guy" when you need jobs done around your home or business. I'll do my best for you at reasonable rates.

I did an interesting job yesterday. I installed an add-on bidet. I didn't know there was such a thing until I was asked to install one. It went well, though, and the customer was pleased with it. That's what's so great about this job; I get to do something different every day. Haven't had a boring day yet and I've met some really nice people in the process. Interesting week. Electrical work, fixed a pump, replaced a switch in a ceiling fan, installed a motion detector light and installed two GFI outlets. Love the variety of being a handyman.

It's been two months since I started Doo Rite Handyman service and I just want to thank all the folks I've been able to help. I also want to thank those of you have recommended me to your friends and family. I enjoy meeting and helping people with their projects, which have included dishwasher installation, small concrete projects, toilet replacement, faucet repair and replacement, and electrical jobs. In two of the electrical projects, I am happy to say that I was able to detect and correct some potentially serious problems.
I have recently connected with Home Advisor so folks can find me that way, too. Check out my Home Advisor web page for the reviews that have been posted.
If I've done a job for you and you'd like to post a comment on this page, I'd be grateful for that, too.
With fall approaching, remember that gutters need to be cleaned, concrete should be patched or replaced and windows and doors should be recaulked to prevent problems this winter. Whatever project you or your friends might have, I'd appreciate you considering Doo Rite Handyman Service for the job.
