Sending the same résumé to every remote job may be costing you interviews.
Your résumé is not simply a record of everything you have ever done. It should quickly show an employer why your experience, skills and results are relevant to the specific role they are hiring for.
Before submitting your next remote job application, tailor these four sections:
✓ Professional summary
✓ Skills and relevant keywords
✓ Experience bullets
✓ Tools, metrics and proof
You do not need to rewrite your entire résumé every time. Focus on the employer’s priorities, move the most relevant information forward and make your value easy to understand.
For Caribbean and international applicants, also confirm the location eligibility before spending time tailoring your application.
Save this carousel for your next remote job application and share it with another job seeker.
