WHAT ARE SOME OTHER CAREERS OR JOBS THAT DO NOT REQUIRE A 4 YEAR DEGREE?
Make it make sense! I decided to go back to school in my late 30s and I’m so glad I did!! I had a blast and I got a lot out of it but I didn’t NEED it. At 18-19/20, I was a total MESS so I started working, often two jobs. Who else was a mess in their teens and early 20s? College makes sense for some people, but MOST of us, it doesn’t. It doesn’t mean zero education. Trade Schools, Certificate Programs, and Experience are just as good or BETTER than a college degree. EVERYONE needs training and education. We are fortunate enough to live in a time when knowledge and education is available to us 24/7 on any topic ever.
Here are some examples of careers where you do not need a formal college degree:

There is something to be said about jumping head first into something, leaving yourself no option but to succeed...but those success stories (while inspiring) are far less common than people who lost everything because they didn't have the right support and information when they started. My name is Kristen McCormick. I have been building businesses for over 15 years. Covid policies killed my otherwise successful 10 year old business. Overnight. DONE. So I pivoted.
