There is a word, and it's the most dangerous word in the English language...
And no, I'm not talking about some four-letter word you scream when you drop a dumbbell on your foot.
This word is much worse, because it sabotages your success without you even realizing it.
The word I'm talking about is... "can't".
How many times have you said things like:
"I can't do this."
"I can't figure it out."
"I can't become a freelancer."
Here's the hard truth: every time you use this word, you give away your power.
And as a result…
You get stuck in a dream-killing cycle of self-doubt and inaction.
Here’s the good news:
I’m going to show you a way to break free from the "can't" trap.
This is a simple, practical strategy to take back control when you get overwhelmed with all the craziness in life.
It’s my 3-step "Can't" Antidote.
Step 1: Brain Dump
Grab a piece of paper and do a complete brain dump of every single task or goal that you've been telling yourself you "can't" do.
Personal goals, business goals, life goals - get them ALL out of your head and onto the page.
Simply acknowledging your "can'ts" is incredibly empowering.
Step 2: Reframe
Now, I want you to pick just 3 items from your list.
For each one, reframe the "can't" statement into a question starting with "How can I...?"
For example:
"I can't become a freelancer" becomes "How can I become a freelancer?"
"I can't get in shape" becomes "How can I get in shape?"
"I can't learn a new digital skill" becomes "How can I learn a new digital skill?"
Step 3: Take Action
Next, for each of your 3 reframed questions…
Write down one small action you can take to move towards the answer.
It should be specific and something you can do within the next 24 hours.
Then…
Go take action!
Remember, you CAN do this.
One step at a time, one day at a time.
Before you know it, all those "can'ts" will turn into a list of things you’ve done.
Anyway, I hope that was helpful.
If you had any big “aha” moments while you were reading this…
Shoot me a message and tell me how you are going to take action this week. 😊
