New route on Penrose Peak! Established with Clay Stoner this summer.

This route goes up the water streak on Penrose Peak’s southwest aspect in six pitches at a grade of 5.8 with mostly 5.4 climbing. Great rock, beautiful setting and decent mix of sun and shade.

Descend in five rappels with double 70 meter ropes, or walk off.

This route will be available for guided trips starting in summer 2027. Message us for more info!

Yep! And you can too!
Steamboat point can be climbed in two fun pitches, and the summit can be reached with a 2 minute walk from where the climbing route tops out.

Making new friends every trip. I’ve had very good experiences with weasels in the Bighorns. I’ve never had one try and take my food or chew on equipment, like marmots will. Have you ever seen one like this? If you have a fun bighorns wildlife story leave it in the comments!
