We are not your average roasting company, we believe in carrying on the tradition of the Cowboy way of life. We want to not only create quality products but also gain a great standing customer relationship. "We want to serve products that help carry on the Cowboy way of life in a way that is pleasing to God." ~WYO Buckin' Beans

ars. When out on the trail; Cookie, the ol' chuck wagon cook, would roast green coffee beans in a cast iron skillet over the camp fire. Then he crushed the beans in a bag with an ax handle or whatever would get the job done. Coffee roasting has come a long way since then. We are roasting quality green beans in cast iron, similar to how Cookie used to do. It may not float a horseshoe, grow hair on your chest, or a kill a rattler.

Have you ever felt peace? And No, I’m not meaning hiding in your bathtub from your children kind of peace… that’s only effective for a moment. I’m talking about God’s peace.

It’s where you’re sitting in the eye of the storm with the chaos all around you. You can see everything going wrong, but somehow you allowed your guard down and have given your blind faith to God. It’s hard to explain, but it’s the kind of peace and contentment that we are all seeking.

Have you ever truly read Psalms 23? I did a bible study and dissected every sentence. God is with you through these storms as long as you seek Him. I encourage you to read it and pray over it.

I’m not saying it’s easy, the World is sometimes one of the hardest to fight against…. But it’ll be truly worth it.

I pray you keep looking up and keep pushing forward.

“The Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing. He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters, he refreshes my soul. He guides me along the right paths for his name’s sake. Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me. You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows. Surely your goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.”
‭‭Psalms‬ ‭23‬:‭1‬-‭6‬ ‭

Hello! It's been ages since I last logged into Facebook, so I thought I'd pop in, say hi, and maybe even remind you all who I am. Since closing up shop, life has been a wild ride - still running around like a chicken with its head cut off, because apparently, that's just my default mode. For some reason, my husband thinks I'm just twiddling my thumbs and need a new project, so he's saddled me with a job on the ranch that I didn't even apply for. Nice, huh? It took me a bit to regain my footing, but I'm feeling semi-alive again. One thing I've missed is sharing my faith and spreading God's love - that was a huge part of my business, after all. I started WYO Buckin' Beans as a ministry; it was God's business, and I was just along for the ride. I've been praying about how to move forward with all of you, and I think I've got it: I'll post sporadically, sharing bits and pieces of this amazing life God has given me. Let's live life to the fullest, love like crazy, and give God all the glory.

Oh, and by the way, something's brewing... Bison’s Bounty is up to something. Stay tuned.

Wishing you all the very best! God Bless. Angie

Greetings to my loyal and wonderful customers! It’s kind of hard to think that it has been 9 years since I started to roast your favorite Cast Iron Coffee, 9 years! Who would’ve thought that this Cowgirl could do such a thing! Easy answer, the Good Lord, He had faith in me and was faithful since the beginning of this journey. I love to refer to this business as God’s business and I’m just his tool. I just wanted to let you all know that this Cowgirl has officially decided to put the roasting/business hat down. My heart is on the ranch and at home. In the last 9 years I created a successful business from scratch. I showed myself what I was capable of, but I also showed to myself that my heart doesn’t belong in the roast room. It has been a wonderful experience meeting you all and seeing you all love what I create in the roast room. I appreciate you all for believing in me and going on this wild ride… It has been a huge blessing to me and my family. This Cowgirl is in awe of the kindness and support you all have shown me. Thank you! Wishing you all the best!
God Bless,Angie

Zip the cow dog and I are back roasting! Thank you for understanding that I needed to step away these past couple of weeks.

I’ve tried to juggle these busy times on the ranch and I ended up burning myself out and creating unnecessary mental and physical exhaustion! No bueno!

Yesterday morning I said a prayer and asked God to keep the smoke high and clear for us as we worked cows all day.
God sent a blanket over us and kept the smoke right above us.
God is good and shows us His mercy daily.
He shows His light in the darkness.
