Many businesses utilize a locally purchased shredder which can burn out or jam, leading frustrated employees to allow improper destruction of documents which can result in heavy fines. HIPAA has stiff penalties for improper handling or destruction of client medical records. Texas HB 300 and Texas Identity

Theft Protection Act provides penalties for mishandling of a person's name, Social Security Number, date of birth, mother's maiden name, as well as credit/debit card information. All Secure Shredding procedures and equipment is compliant with HIPAA, Texas HB 300, and the Identity Theft and Protection Act. All of our employees are trained on these requirements, as required by law. Secure Shredding clients are provided with a Document of Destruction to validate that their records have been disposed of properly. Normal Hours are 9am-3pm Monday-Friday. Other hours are available through appointment. We offer shredding nights and weekends with appointments.
