My name is Kiernan Hull and I, like you, have a major passion for the outdoors. When I finished high-school I knew I wanted to make my passion, my career. Within the week I had applied to Taxidermy School & within the year I was in Montana learning the art behind bringing Your mount back to life. Now I have my own shop located up on the mountain in-between Sherwood, Wilsonville, & Newberg, Oregon where I focus my time on insuring your animal looks as alive as the day you saw it in your cross hairs. From the great Tanneries I use in Montana & Alabama depending on the animal, down to the detail of the veins in the face & nostrils, I don't settle for anything less than life like. My love for the art really showed at the 2012 & 2013 Oregon State Taxidermy Championships where I won several 1st & 2nd places along with "Best New Artist". You shouldn't have to stress over your animal while it's at the taxidermists & when you bring it to me, I can assure you it's in good hands.

Trying to get caught up after this little set back, I am going to entirely close my doors until January 1st unless we have already spoken.
Thank you all so much for your patience in the mean time. I am absolutely slaving myself inside the shop right now & wont stop until I’m caught up. ❤️🫶🏼

Almost 15 years ago when I started my journey of animal preservation, I told someone “this is Gods plan for me I can tell, but it’s kind of different, not sure how is could be Gods plan?”
They said “how could that path not be Godly?”

I asked what they saw in it that would make them think that?

“You’d literally be trying to preserve animals that HE created…. Because you love his animals, & you know how spectacular they are. You know they deserve proper care & delicate hands.
You would be perfect for the job. You’d care to try to bring them back to the closest resemblance as He intended Kiernan.”

I have never seen it any different since that day.

Every one a challenge to do my best, so maybe he could look down at me & smile. Never in any competition with anyone but myself to do it all in his glory.

Yesterday was hands down the best day in my studio. And I have had a lot of “best days” if you know me. Definitely a blessing counter…. ❤️🙌🏼

But yesterday…. getting to give “Casino” back to the sweetest horse girl & her mom, and watch her climb upon his back one more time after retiring from riding, due to back issues.
That was “it”.
That was magic through his hands letting me do my work.
And I do not cry, but sure was yesterday & again now writing this darn it…!

Robin, I hope you know how special this was for me & what an honor it was to watch you climb on his back one last time. 🙏🏼❤️

Most animals look bigger in photos than in person but when I shared this guy on my story yesterday I had no idea…. Photos did not do him justice! Incredible Oregon Buck!
4x8 with size & mass for days.
Head the size of a beef cow.

I am working away all day every day to take care of everyone. Not accepting absolutely any new clients at this time. ❤️🫶🏼
