Ponzi Vineyards Oregon’s OGs. Still pioneering. Sustainable wines. Intentionally crafted since 1970. Must be 21+ to follow. Please drink responsibly.

For over five decades, Ponzi Vineyards has been guided by a deep respect for the land, crafting wines that embody the quiet beauty and untamed spirit of the Willamette Valley. Nestled in the heart of the Laurelwood District AVA, our estate vineyards are home to some of Oregon’s oldest own-rooted vines, thriving in the energetically-rich Laurelwood soils that define our region. Sustainability has always been our promise, evolving and improving each year to ensure long-term care of the land we farm. In the cellar, a philosophy of low-intervention winemaking—gravity-flow methods, native yeast fermentations, and careful handling—reveals the true essence of each vintage. Every bottle is a pure reflection of place, shaped by time, soil, and an enduring commitment to harmony

Visit our stunning modern tasting room featuring fireside seating, a covered terrace and bocce ball courts. Experience an exclusive tableside tasting with panoramic views of Avellana vineyard and the surrounding valley. Enjoy a Signature Tasting and seasonal menu offerings

Must be 21+ to follow.

Longtime friends Lynne Thompson and Jamie Krup will guide newcomers through the fundamentals of mahjong—a game of pattern, patience and, perhaps most importantly, good company.

No experience required. Just a willingness to learn.

A flight of Ponzi w**es throughout.

This Sunday is for The District.

We’re opening the fall shipment at Ponzi: the 2024 Avellanas, with the vineyard in view, and the 2023 Pinot Noir Reserve.

2024 marks Max Bruening’s first vintage leading w**emaking at Ponzi, exactly 50 years after our first in 1974. We think that calls for a party.

Join us October 4 from 12–3 pm for the Avellana Allocation Celebration. Motown on the speakers. Unexpected pairings from the kitchen. ’70s attire encouraged.

Members can RSVP at the link in bio.

A playlist for the moments that made us.

Eleven songs trace the Ponzi story: the first vines, a few unexpected moves, the people who carried it forward, and the ideas still taking root.

Yesterday morning, Avellana gave us its final fruit of 2026.

Next week, the 2024 Avellana goes out to members of The District. Same vineyard. Two years apart. One harvest arriving at the w**ery as another leaves it.

This is what home looks like.

Meet our new Assistant Winemaker, Paula Bish.

Paula joined Ponzi as a Harvest Enologist and has since moved through the cellar as Enologist and Production Manager. Today, she steps into her next chapter.

Before Ponzi, Paula worked in Napa and Sonoma, including as Enologist at Hess Persson Estates, with a vintage in New Zealand along the way.

At Ponzi, she’s worked closely with Max to sharpen our precision-based approach to w**emaking — exploring everything from whole-cluster inclusion to concrete and other vessels.

For Paula, that’s part of what makes this place special: working with fruit from vineyards that have helped shape the history of the Willamette Valley, while continuing to push the w**es forward.

When she’s not in the cellar, you’ll likely find her hiking, traveling, or somewhere outside with her husband and dog, Koda.

Congratulations, Paula. Very well deserved.
