Our team at Wellspring Solar installed this solar system for Camp Friedenswald in Cassopolis, MI, in 2019! Wellspring recently returned to this install. Our team went back out to run wire to the new buildings and get solar power to them! The solar system at Camp Friedenswald has been working smoothly for 7 years now ☀
System Details:
☀ Panels: One Hundred Eighty Heliene 370W
Solar Panels collect energy from the sunlight.
☀ Inverters: Solaredge Inverters
Inverters convert the energy collected by the panels into usable energy.
☀ System Type: Grid-Tie System
With a grid-tie system, homes are still connected to the utility company. The home will use the energy from the solar panels first, and draw from the utility company when needed.
☀ Mounting System: Flat Roof Mount
Cinder blocks hold down the metal frame connecting the solar panels to the roof, and the panels are tilted at an angle, facing south, ensuring optimal energy collection.
