Cooking with dad has brought back so many memories. Seeing the old cooker he used to use and comparing it to what I cook on now is such a joy! We’ve spent countless hours sitting in lawn chairs, sipping Dr Pepper, and tossing logs into the firebox to keep the smoke going. The cookers I use may have changed over the years, but the joy remains the same. And yes, in case you’re wondering, dad’s old cooker is still around, and yes, he still fires it up from time to time.

I think the best part of cooking is how it brings family and friends together, and this time, I got to experience both at once. My dad was visiting, and what better way to celebrate than by firing up both cookers for a video! It was such a joy to cook alongside him, and I can't wait to share these videos with you.
