Presence - Radiance - Connection

Headshot session with Robin. Robin for sure embodies these beautiful qualities. It is always wonderful to develop a dialog - with words and without words - during the photo sessions, to give space and allow the presence, radiance and luminosity to show. Great highschool senior session with Miles. I was impressed by Miles strong sense of style and presence. His interests are in fashion and wrestling. And he speaks french and understood to my surprise the words of the french songs I was playing when he arrived. ( Which I don’t understand, haha.. ). My compliment! I loved his strong ideas for the choice of his outfits, which we discussed and chose at a separate Zoom meeting days before the shoot. Thank you Miles, for your strong commitment and focus during the shoot.

Beautiful Yvonne Hill of . Yvonne is the founder of as well as a graphic designer and filmmaker. We got a delayed start because of unforeseen circumstances, but we decided to do the shoot anyway. The energy is always building up in a shoot, we laughed, were sad and talked a lot and laughed again. And in between quiet moments of relaxing into the moment and into oneself. And then images happen of gentleness, presence and radiance and beauty. Thank you Yvonne, for trusting the process

I am doing more shoots like this lately, where it is all about playful discovery, allowing yourself to be “seen” and to take time and space for yourself. I call them “Girlfriend-Shoots”, as that is how I started photography in Germany years ago. But the name for these shoots could also be “Flow and Frequency” or “Body Ownership Photography”. What do you think?😘

Beautiful Yvonne Hill of . Yvonne is the founder of as well as a graphic designer and Filmmaker. We got a delayed start because of unforeseen circumstances, but we decided to do the shoot anyway. Gentleness and Strength I see in her face.

I thought a lot about what words sum up the last year for me and which qualities I want to bring into the new year: Gentleness and Fierceness come again and again to my mind. To be gentle with fierceness, and to be fierce with gentleness, and the wisdom to know when to walk which path.
