Small Business Saturday felt like the right moment to do one more call.
I started something new this month — a digital catalog called Local Black Women in Business to Look Out For.

The goal is simple:
create a place where our community can discover, support, and circulate Black women-owned businesses across Northwest Louisiana.
But a catalog like this only works if the women building incredible things locally actually submit their businesses.

So I’m doing one final push.

If you are a Black woman entrepreneur, creative, nonprofit leader, or business owner serving Northwest Louisiana, I want you included.

This opportunity is free and designed to give your business more visibility in the community.

✔ Increased exposure
✔ Community recognition
✔ A clickable listing in the catalog
✔ New people discovering your work

If that sounds like something you want, submit your business today.

Tonight we celebrate International Women’s Day, and before the day closes, I want to say this.
There are so many brilliant, hardworking, creative Black women in business in our community… and too often their work isn’t seen the way it deserves to be.

So I’m creating something intentional.

✨ Local Black Women in Business to Look Out For

A digital catalog highlighting women entrepreneurs, founders, creatives, and leaders in our community.
Submissions are now open; and it’s completely free to be included.

If you’re building something, offering a service, creating a product, or leading in your field… your name deserves to be in rooms you’re not even in yet.

Let this be one of them.
🖤 Submit yourself or a woman you respect.
Deadline: March 13

It’s cold, quiet, and everybody’s home tonight.
Which makes it the perfect time to think about what we’re actually building.
Not just content.
Not just visibility.
But something that makes it easier for Black women to be found, supported, and referred...without fighting algorithms.

That’s the work.
More coming.

Black Women in Business Northwest Louisiana was birthed from a vision to create space, connection, and visibility for women ready to rise. From our very first event to the conversations and connections along the way, this community has been a chapter of boldness, possibility, and impact.

As seasons change, so do visions. After deep reflection, I’ve decided to close this chapter. This is not an ending, but an evolution. The spirit of empowering Black women in leadership and legacy will continue in new and aligned ways through my work as a Legacy Leadership Consultant and Marketing Strategist.

To every woman who showed up, supported, and believed—thank you. You are a part of this story forever.

The crown does not dim, it simply shines in new directions. ✨👑
