I'm about 90% excited and 10% terrified to even type the following sentence.
I'm writing my first book.😯
I've always been a talker, not a writer.
Put me in a room and I can talk through ideas all day.
Put me in front of a blank page and suddenly I'm second-guessing every word.
For years, people have asked me the same question. How do you get along with pretty much everyone you meet, even the teenagers?
Honestly, it's not because I have it all figured out. I've just always been fascinated by people, by what makes each of us tick. Turns out that's actually a strength, individualization, and I didn't even realize it for years.
So now I'm ready to share everything that's been rolling around in my head, the things that have helped me over decades to understand others of any age and truly work so much better together.
I'm thinking I'll title the book... The Coworker that Drives You Crazy
It's for anyone who has ever sat across from a coworker who drives them a little crazy or a lot crazy. The one you just can't seem to click with, no matter how hard you try.
Turns out, most of that friction isn't because something is wrong with them, or with you. It's because we're seeing each other through the wrong lens.
More on that later. For now, just know it's happening. 90% excited, 10% afraid, and 100% in.🥳
