Hello Family
Thanks to everyone who was able to make it to the 2026 “All Roads Lead Home” Myres Jernigan Family Reunion!
We certainly enjoyed each other’s company. We were able to but names to faces and we able to shared a lot of family history. I want to say thank you to everyone who prepared the food, and those who either helped set up and or cleaned up and our photographer. And a special thank to Kevin Johnson for reminding us to put our differences aside and to come together and love on one another♥️

The next family reunion will be hosted by Roxann Powell in Oakland, CA in 2028. Information will forthcoming.

Hello Family, there have been several requests to wear white again for Sunday's service. So, if you don't have any white, maybe you can find something nice if you're shopping for your holiday outfit. If you don't have it or can't get it, come on to church anyway! Love you!!

Dear Family, I've received an update from the hotel. If you are planning to book a room, they are asking you to do so by July 3rd. You can call me for a confirmation number and then call the hotel. I also will need numbers so I’ll know how much food needs to be ordered. Thanks.

2026 All Roads Lead Home

Hello family sorry for there has been extensive road construction in communication, but the road to this reunion should be smooth moving forward.

We will be staying at the Hampden Inn Shreveport/Bossier City I-20, 1005 Gould Dr., Bossier City, LA 71111. The total price is $350.78 from Friday, July 17th 3:00 to July 19th 12 pm (breakfast is included) per room. We will have our Myres Jernigan holiday at Knights of Columbus, 5853 Buncombe Rd., Shreveport, LA 71129. We will break bread and fellowship with New Boggy Baptist Church, 6824 Co Rd. 322, Bethany, LA 71107.
