I’m pleased to have had a role in returning the ring to Mr. Phillips’ family.

Andrew Phillips grew up in Shrewsbury and graduated in 1950 from Shrewsbury High School. His widow Eleanor and daughter Patti speculated that he must not have had his class ring for very long when he lost it because they never knew about the ring much less the fact that it had been lost.

I recently had the opportunity to speak to the Men's Group at the Shrewsbury Senior Center and the Rotary Club of Shrewsbury about Genealogy Research. Thanks to both groups for inviting me to present on my favorite subject!

Made my first presentation to the Shrewsbury Historical Society this evening! Enjoyed doing the research, learning about Shrewsbury in 1918, and sharing information about the people who were unfortunate victims of the "Spanish flu."
