Wiebe with the Missouri State Highway Patrol as our Law Enforcement Officer of the Year, honoring his service and dedication to protecting others.

We appreciate all of the kind comments and compliments about last week’s Annual Awards Banquet!
What you see is one incredible evening. What I see is the weeks of planning, problem-solving, and teamwork that takes place behind the scenes. The real credit for the success of this event goes to Taylor Allen Deere, Molly O’Guin, Hailey Elizabeth, Katie Lape Merideth, and Shannon Holifield.
They all care deeply about this community and go above and beyond to make this event exceptional for our award recipients. I am incredibly proud of this team!!!

Our office joined Missouri Delta Medical Center today for their annual Breast Cancer Awareness Luncheon, presented by the Missouri Delta Foundation.

This year’s “Blue Gene Connection” theme highlighted the role genetics can play in breast cancer risk and the importance of genetic testing, early detection and knowing your family history.

We’re grateful for opportunities like this to learn, raise awareness and support women throughout our community. 🩷

We are so excited to welcome local author LaDona DeKriek, writing as Lydia Constantine, to Women of Sikeston!

LaDona describes herself as a mother, grandmother, business owner and community leader—and at 81, she added author to that list! What began decades ago as family history she intended only for her own family eventually became the Out of Mother’s Shadow trilogy.

Her story is such a perfect fit for Women of Sikeston and our belief that there is no timeline for trying something new, pursuing a passion or writing your next chapter.

We can’t wait for you to hear from LaDona on November 4!

Need to get away for just a little while? Stop by the Expo. Have a little more time? Join us for lunch. Or make a day of it and enjoy it all! Women of Sikeston was designed for you to enjoy as much—or as little—of the day as your schedule allows.

Check out all the details below and make plans to join us! Tickets available here
