I couldn't be prouder of my best friend, Jim Miller, for being inducted into the 2024 NMHSCA Hall of Honor. His dedication and achievements are truly inspiring.
One memory that stands out and speaks volumes about Jim's character is from years ago. I had just returned from a Rugby Tournament in Tucson, and back then, not everyone had cell phones. While I was away, my parents tried to reach me with heartbreaking news: my Grandmother had passed.
When I walked through the door, my roommates, Mike Miller and Jim Rutley hugged me and then walked out the back door, leaving Jim to deliver the news. They knew that only my best friend could handle such a delicate moment.
Jim's strength and compassion in that moment are a testament to the incredible person he is. All his accomplishments, including this recent honor, make me proud to know him. Congratulations, Jim! 🏅👏
